Single Skein Strategy: How to Let Your Special Yarn Shine - Ksenia Naidyon - Sat. 8/1
Saturday, August 1
2:00-4:00, 2 hours
About this class:
We all have that one skein we couldn't resist — hand-dyed, variegated, richly textured. The question is: which pattern will do it justice?
This lecture explores how to make confident, strategic decisions when working with a single skein. We’ll discuss how colorways, texture, and yardage influence design choices — and how to select patterns that highlight rather than compete with your yarn.
Level: Beginner
What you’ll need to bring to class:
Students are welcome to bring a special skein for discussion. We’ll analyze a few examples as a group to illustrate how to approach pattern pairing.
