Posture and Ergonomics for Makers - Andrea Lui - Sun. 8/2
Sunday, August 2
2:00-4:00, 2 hours
About this class:
Soreness and stiffness can sneak up after long knitting sessions, making it harder to enjoy your craft. Join Andrea Lui, PT, DPT—orthopedic physical therapist and fellow knitter, crocheter, weaver, and spinner—for a relaxed, hands-on class to help your body feel its best while you create.
You’ll learn practical ways to improve your posture and setup, avoid common sources of tension, and try simple stretches and exercises to stay comfortable and pain-free. The class covers the whole body, helping you knit with more ease and less strain.
Bring a work-in-progress (WIP) to practice new positions and adjustments in real time.
Level: Beginner
