Introduction to Tunisian Crochet - Lori Harrison - Sat. 8/1
Saturday, August 1
10:00-1:00, 3 hours
About this class:
Discover the fundamentals of Tunisian crochet. In this class, you’ll learn everything you need to start your Tunisian crochet journey. We’ll start with how to cast on the foundation row and go over Tunisian crochet stitch structure before covering all five basic stitches and finally how to bind off. At the end of the course, you’ll have all the knowledge you need to begin your first Tunisian crochet project!
Skill Level: Absolute Beginner. This class is open to everyone. It would be helpful to already know how to do a crochet chain stitch. No other crochet knowledge needed.
Level: Beginner
What you’ll need to bring to class:
DK weight yarn (~250yds/100g). 2 colors, 10g each. 6.5mm (K) crochet hook without an ergonomic handle or a Tunisian crochet hook. Note: The hook size will sound too large, it is not. Tunisian crochet requires a larger size than crochet or knitting. Please bring the listed size hook.
