About this class:
Doodles by Pacific Knit Co. are modern and whimsical colorwork motifs that enable knitters to design and knit custom socks! The Doodle Framework for SOCKS has 4 simple steps: 1) Build your Custom Sock Pattern, 2) Pick your Doodle Motifs, 3) Pick your Yarn Colors and 4) Start Knitting!
During this session, we’ll deep dive into each step and learn how to choose and modify your sock pattern, how to create your Master Sock Project Chart using Doodle motifs, and how to build cohesive yarn palettes that work for colorwork. Afterwards, you’ll have the confidence to create your own unique colorwork socks, which gives you endless customization with just one pattern!

What you’ll need to bring to class: If you have any specific Doodles you'd like to use during this class (cards or printed) please bring those with you.
About the instructor:
Jamie is the founder and designer behind Doodles by Pacific Knit Co. Her background in design, standards, and technical writing combines creativity with user experience and helped her create a system of mix-and-match patterns and charts which has grown into the Doodle Framework, and everything fun and unique about Doodling!
She loves colorwork knitting and how it feels like "doodling with yarn", in that a fiber-y illustration is created, line by line as you knit the pattern. After designing the first Doodle pattern in 2020, she's now expanded the concept into over 35 themes and 11 base pattern shapes, with more patterns coming all the time! When she's not knitting (and designing) she spends time with her husband, two young kiddos, and her fluffy corgi, Freddie!
