About this class:
You got a hole in your beautiful hand-knit sweater, now what? In this workshop, you'll learn various techniques for visible and invisible mending, for holes of various sizes. You'll be able to use these techniques to repair any knitted item, from socks to shawls to sweaters.
Level: Advanced
What you’ll need to bring to class:
Homework swatches to b assigned by instructor, small sharp scissors, crochet hook, darning needle, 50 yards of worsted weight wool, double pointed needles
About the instructor:
I work full-time in the fiber industry, as a yarn shop owner, yarn dyer, and nationally recognized knitting instructor. I've been a regular teacher at Vogue Knitting LIVE! both in-person and online since 2020, and have taught at Red Alder for the last three years. I've also been fortunate to teach in person at events such as the Webs Retreat, Knitter's Day Out in Pennsylvania, and Yarn Over Minneapolis, and have taught in-person and online for various knitting guilds.
