About this class:
These colorful little squares are a timeless crochet staple and can be turned into everything from blankets and bags to clothing and home décor.

In this two-hour class, you’ll learn foundational crochet skills including double crochet, work in the round, change colors, and fasten off. You’ll also leave with ideas and inspiration for turning your granny squares into larger future projects.

Supplies:
Pattern will be provided in class.
If you already have a favorite hook and yarn you want to use, feel free to bring them along! Worsted weight yarn and a 4.0mm-5mm hook is a great size to start.

Skill Level: Adventurous Beginner/intermediate beginner. This class is perfect for someone who has taken Beginner Crochet or has some crochet knowledge but needs a refresher.

Level: Beginner

What you’ll need to bring to class:
2 contrasting Yarn colors in DK or Worsted weight yarn, and either a 4.0mm or 5.0mm crochet hook.

About the instructor:
Becka is the founder of Radiant Beans, a custom fiber art business focused primarily on crochet pieces. She has worked to perfect her craft for the past 19+ years, and has hundreds of happy customers wearing her pieces and displaying her work.

Becka has been the host of multiple crochet classes in Portland, OR, Vancouver, WA , and Flock Fiber Festival over the last 4 years. She is very passionate about making her students feel comfortable and meeting them where they are in their fiber journey. She strives to make learning a new skill fun and engaging. A resident of Vancouver, WA Becka divides her time between Radiant Beans, gardening, baking bread and taking care of her two sons- the Beans.
