All about texture: Fancy Knitting Stitches for Textural Connoisseurs - Ksenia Naidyon - Sun. 8/2

Sunday, August 2

10:00-1:00, 3 hours

About this class:
Ready to spice up your knitting repertoire? In this workshop we’ll explore some of the more complex and intricate textures like Estonian braids, slipped stitch patterns, nupps, bobbles, and Japanese wrapped stitches. While preparing to work on a beautifully textured shawl, we’ll talk about nuances of these stitch patterns and the best ways to use them in other projects. If you enjoy a creative challenge and elaborate texture, this class is for you!

Level: Intermediate

What you’ll need to bring to class:
DK weight yarn in solid light color, 100 yds. US 6 / 4 mm straight or circular needles (adjust if needed to obtain blocked gauge of 22 sts and 32 rows in 4″ / 10cm in stockinette). Crochet hook matching the needle size.
