Learn all the tips and tricks to making your perfect pair of socks with sock-knitting master, Summer Lee! From choosing a size to choosing a heel, you'll learn how to make socks that fit (3 hours).

The Sweater Map: Understanding Body Shape and Sweaters - Kim McBrien Evans

A Sweater Map is a personal schematic that uses your measurements and shape to assist you with sweater fit. Armed with your Sweater Map and a pattern with a schematic, you'll be better able to choose a size or combination of sizes for your next sweater. You'll also have a greater understanding of basic modifications you'll need to make for yourself (5 hours with break for lunch).

Learn to Granny Square - Becka Denning

Learn to crochet a modern granny square! Endless possibilities and so much fun to make, we love the simplicity of these little pops of joy. Becka will show you how to construct your granny squares, how to work with multiple colors and give you ideas on how to incorporate your squares into larger projects (2 hours).

Fiber Deep Dive - Megan Monroe

Have you ever walked into a yarn shop and been overwhelmed by the choices? Spend some time learning about different types of fibers and what properties they bring to yarn. This class will cover the basics from yarn construction, dying and fiber content. We will also dive into how wool makes it from the sheep all the way to the skein. Learn how to read a label, pair yarn to pattern and pick out the perfect yarn for the project you want to create (2 hours).

Intro to Tapestry Weaving - Kira Dulaney

Weaving is an ancient art that is easy to learn yet has endless possibilities. Unleash your creativity while playing with color and texture! We will use a simple frame loom to make an artistic wall hanging while exploring plain weave as well as rya fringe, soumak, and clasped weft weaving techniques (3 hours).

And she is always looking for new techniques. She is eager to share her wealth of knowledge to help make knitting an easier, and more pleasurable activity, for knitters of all levels (3 hours).

Fixing Mistakes in Cables - Sari Nordlund

Learn how to fix mistakes in your cable projects from the queen of cables, Sari Nordlund. You'll learn how to knit cables without a cable needle and will end up feeling more confident and ready to more tackle cable projects! (2 hours)

Crochet Shawl 3 Ways - Brittany Garber

Discover the art of shawl making with Brittany Garber from KnotBadBritt. In this class, you'll apply a predetermined stitch pattern to three distinct shawl shapes. Brittany will guide you in creating three mini shawls, each showcasing a different construction and mastery of the stitch pattern. By the end of the session, you'll have not only crafted three mini shawls but also the beginnings of your next full-sized shawl project (3 hours).

Beginner Drop Spindle - Jessica Ransom

Learn the basics of spinning through a thorough, hands-on, experience with drop spindle. A great way to test out spinning- a slow and methodical skillset going back thousands of years (2 hours).

Seaming and Finishing - Kira Dulaney

Neat seaming and finishing make such a difference in a handmade project, but so many knitters and crocheters don't feel confident in their finishing skills. We will cover weaving in ends, seaming in various directions, picking up stitches, crocheted edgings, and buttonholes (3 hours).

Beginning Bulky Brioche - Lesley Anne Robinson

Brioche is meant to be a fun and engaging stitch pattern!!! Take away all the fear and uncertainty surrounding brioche knittin - just grab some bulky yarn and circular needles! Two-color brioche is very fun, and can be easier to see the anatomy of brioche stitches, so we will be focusing on this during the class. This is a beginner brioche class! No brioche skills required (3 hours).

Wool Blending to Create Your Own Color Pallet - Susan Astrid Willsrud

Bring a bit of color theory to your spinning! In this class, you'll get the chance to work with a large selection of colors of wool roving and use the color wheel to blend colors to create a unique and beautiful array of colors. Students will leave the class with a Color Pallete Card and enough fiber to create their own sample project (3 hours).

Maker Anatomy - Andrea Lui

Have you ever wondered why certain parts of your body ache with making? Or what to even do about it? Come join Andrea Lui, PT, DPT, OCS for a class on maker anatomy. We will cover a basic overview of posture and ergonomics, specifically related to making posture (knitting, crochet, weaving, spinning). Then a novice-friendly anatomy lesson on what muscles control which motions, and how to exercise and strengthen them to improve your posture and strength (2 hours).

Spinning The Yarn You Want - Susan Astrid Willsrud

Learn how to use your wheel and spinning techniques to spin everything from super bulky to lace weight yarns. Students will learn how to adjust their wheels and spinning methods in order to create a huge array of yarn weights (3 hours).

Make in Color : Live Life Brighter - Lesley Anne Robinson

Do you feel like you always doubt your color choices with your projects, especially when it comes to brioche knitting, stranded colorwork, stripes, or any projects with multiple colors? It can feel very overwhelming and stressful, especially if you are shopping and need to make a decision in the store or online. In this class, Lesley will be sharing her color theory expertise from an art school background, where to start when choosing colors for your projects, and a surefire way to make sure you will LOVE your finished objects without the guessing game (3 hours).

Eco-Print Dyeing - Jennifer Brown

Discover the enchanting world of eco-printing and transform ordinary socks into a unique, one-of-a-kind, wearable work of art! In this engaging workshop, you will learn the process of how to create vibrant and stunning imprints of botanicals on to fabric that will withstand washing and wear. Students will not only take home a beautifully designed pair of socks, but also gain a deeper understanding of natural dyeing and the magic it has to offer (2 hours).

In this class, we will learn the techniques you need to knit your own Poetry Pullover and learn more about lace knitting. During the class we will prepare a swatch, where you learn to read charts and knit the lace pattern, as well as learn the Tubular Bind Off technique (2 hours).

Upcycle Your Clothing with Hand Embroidery - Melissa Galbraith

Cover up stains and small holes in your clothing with hand embroidery. Join fiber artist and author Melissa Galbraith of MCreativeJ for a hands-on workshop. Simply bring a garment to embroider and we'll provide you with playful nature-inspired sample designs to stitch. This class will cover helpful do's and dont's of embroidering garments as well as stitches best suited for your individual garment and pattern. This workshop is beginner-friendly and no prior embroidery experience is required (2 hours).

Makers Mindset: An Adaptive Thinking Workshop - Beth Gorishek

In this intimate and personalized workshop, Beth welcomes participants of all backgrounds and skill levels, from complete beginners to seasoned knitters including those who may have encountered physical challenges due to accidents, strokes, or temporary conditions that have hindered their knitting journey. Intro to Tunisian Crochet - Lori Harrison

In this class, you'll learn all the fundamental skills for Tunisian crochet. We'll cover forward & return pass, stitch structure, casting on, binding off, and basic stitches (3 hours).

Steeking in Style - Aleks Byrd

Tackle the scary steek and open a whole new world of possibilities with your knitting! Together we will explore two different styles of steek edges from the fun of a knotted fringe steek that's great for a shawl and the all-round reinforcement method with crochet. We will finish off with the perfect and super neat steek sandwich band that makes a great finishing touch hiding your steek on a cardigan (3 hours).

Fixing and Finishing Brioche - Lesley Anne Robinson

Gain confidence with your brioche knitting by learning how to fix mistakes, pick up dropped stitches, place lifelines, and add those finishing touches to your brioche projects! Feel free to bring any of your brioche projects you might want learn how to fix or finish or you can sit back and treat this as a lecture (3 hours).

Cable Knitting Techniques - Sari Nordlund

In this class we will cover the basic left and right cables and their variations and combinations. You will learn how to knit cables without a cable needle, explore more complicated cables, and learn how fix cables. During this course we will also discuss how cables affect the gauge and what you need to take into consideration if you want to add cables into existing patterns (2 hours).

Roosimine Estonian Inlay Knitting - Aleks Byrd

Roosimine is an Estonian inlay technique that creates the appearance of embroidery through intentional floats in contrasting yarn on the right side of your knitting. It's the perfect technique to add some embellishment to your knitting that is easier than intarsia (3 hours).

Tunisian Crochet in the Round - Lori Harrison

Learning how to do Tunisian crochet in the round opens up a whole new world of fun projects and colorwork. If you've been wanting to try this fun and versatile technique, come join me. A basic knowledge of Tunisian crochet is required (3 hours).
