From hats to sweaters, a lot of patterns use Tunisian crochet in the round. Tunisian in the round uses a double ended hook and 2 strands of yarn.

For this class we will start by creating a simple coffee cup cozy. This small project will teach us how to work in the round without any shaping. After we are comfortable with the mechanics of Tunisian crochet in-the-round, we'll start on the hat where we'll learn how to do a magic ring foundation row along with in the round shaping. We'll finish the crown in class and you can finish the remainder of the hat at home.

Skill Level: Intermediate. This is not a beginner class. Students need to already know the basics of Tunisian crochet including forward pass, return pass, Tunisian simple stitch, and Tunisian knit stitch.

Level: Intermediate

What you’ll need to bring to class:
Worsted weight yarn (Malabrigo Rios or similar)- 2 colors, 200 yards each (caked and ready to be used).
