About the Class:

Take your crochet skills to the next level with our Tapestry Crochet class! Designed for crocheters who are comfortable with single crochet, this class will guide you through the fundamentals of crochet colorwork.
 
What You'll Learn:
 
How to read and interpret crochet colorwork charts.
Techniques for seamless color changes without fastening off.
Proper yarn positioning to ensure smooth transitions.
How to carry your yarn throughout the project for a polished finish.
 
By the end of the session, you'll have the skills to create a charming tapestry piece that can be turned into a delightful wall hanging‚ perfect for adding a handmade touch to your home decor.

About the Instructor: Becka is the founder of Radiant Beans, a custom fiber art business focused primarily on crochet and macramé pieces. She has worked to perfect her craft for the past 17+ years, has hundreds of happy customers wearing her pieces and displaying her work.

Becka is the host of multiple crochet classes in Portland, OR and Vancouver, WA each month. She divides her time between Radiant Beans, gardening, baking bread and taking care of her two sons- the Beans.

Skill Level: Beginner; you should be comfortable with chaining and single crochet.

Homework: None

Required Materials:

• A 4.0mm, 4.5mm, or 5.0mm crochet hook.
• Worsted weight yarn in at least two contrasting colors.
• Included: This class has a $10 materials fee included in the cost which goes to providing students hand dyed yarn from Bad Sheep Yarn, a crochet hook, tapestry needle, and stitch markers.
