About the Class:
Learn how to use your wheel and spinning techniques to spin everything from super bulky to lace weight yarns. Students will learn how to adjust their wheels and spinning methods in order to create a huge array of yarn weights. Students will leave the class with yarn sample cards that they have created.
The instructor will provide students with hand-dyed roving for spinning
IMPORTANT: Students will need to bring their own spinning wheel to the class (any kind).
About the Instructor:
Susan Willsrud is an avid spinner and spinning teacher from Fairbanks, Alaska. She's the lead farmer at Calypso Farm and Ecology Center and keeps a small flock of Shetland Sheep for producing handspun yarn products. She's a contributor to Ply Magazine and loves having the opportunity to teach around the country.
Skill Level:
Beginner / Intermediate (students should be comfortable spinning a continuous yarn)

- Spinning Wheel
- Optional: Wraps per inch tool, recommended
