About the Class:
Want to capture your knits in a way that truly does them justice? Whether you're promoting patterns or posting to social media, this workshop will help you take beautiful, intentional photos—no fancy gear required. We’ll explore composition, natural lighting and the best times and places to shoot. You'll get practical tips for both DSLR cameras and smartphones, plus easy editing tricks that highlight texture, colour and stitch detail. Come as you are—this class is all about building confidence and learning to see your work through the lens with fresh eyes.
About the Instructor: Jonna is the founder and creative director of Laine Publishing, where knitting meets storytelling in beautiful, soulful ways. She’s a writer, photographer, and yarn enthusiast with a knack for connecting people and stitches. Expect inspiration, honesty, and a little Finnish magic.
Skill Level: Beginner, intermediate

- Bring any knits you'd like to photograph
- Your phone and/or camera
