Needles: 40cm [16 in] circular needles in 4mm, [US6] 4.5mm [US7], and 5mm [US8], one set 4.5mm [US7] dpns or your preferred needles for working small diameter pieces in the round (the crown of our hat). Notions:  tapestry needle, stitch markers, calculator, graph paper and a pencil for taking notes or sketching.
