All You Need to Know From Cuff to Toe - Lindsey Fowler - Sat. 8/9

About the Class:

In this class, we will talk about and swatch details to take your top down socks to the next level. Once you have knit a knit a basic top down sock, there are so many simple ways to add textural elements or color in unexpected places. Using the blank canvas of a basic sock worksheet we can transform it into a variety of styles and aesthetics by adding a few simple details. Class will discuss and swatch cuff techniques and details, ideas for color placement, heel flap textures and a copy of my Lindsey's toe recipe.
 
Participants will receive a copy of Lindsey's Coffee Order Socks to serve as their base pattern and build off of.

About the Instructor: Lindsey Fowler is known for her approachable knitting patterns, love for texture and fresh takes on old classics. Her hugely popular debut book, Salt & Timber, published by Laine Publishing in 2022, captured the essence of life by the coast. Trails & Valleys continues her journey, blending the rugged beauty of the outdoors with thoughtful, versatile knits for every adventure.

Required Materials:

• US Size 1 (2.25mm) needles (DPN or 32" cord for magic loop)
• Fingering weight yarn, caked and ready to knit, 50-100g, 1-2 colors
• Snips
• Darning needle
• Progress Keeper/removable stitch marker
